The Bonita Mandarin Bag is entirely handmade with toquilla straw, a plant-based, flexible and durable material that grows naturally in Ecuador’s coastal provinces. Its red and natural herringbone design stands out for its warmth and energy. The two handwoven mandarins with green leaves add a playful, colorful, and refreshing touch. We work directly with artisan communities in Ecuador to support fair trade and preserve traditional techniques. From straw cultivation to final weaving, each bag is the result of ancestral knowledge passed down through generations. With each piece, we help preserve the toquilla craft and celebrate handmade work created with care. In dry climates or when exposed to sunlight, the straw should occasionally be moistened with a water steamer.
Shipping
As a general rule, packages are sent within 48 hours of receipt of payment, through Correos Express for national shipments and SEUR (DPD) for international shipments with tracking number and delivery without signature. Shipping costs include handling and packaging costs, as well as postage costs. Transportation costs may vary depending on the total weight of the package. We cannot be held responsible for damage to your package after shipment, but we do our best to protect all fragile items.
Returns and exchanges
We offer a complete exchange guarantee within 30 days from the time of your purchase. To make the change you must write an email to hola@laveintinueve.com explaining the reason why you do not want the items. Once the exchange is approved, you must return the merchandise in its original packaging, unused and in the condition in which they were sent. Once received, checked and booked again in our warehouse, we will proceed to send you the exchange merchandise. La Veintinueve will cover the return shipping costs.
